EDEN’s holistic tutoring fills a vacuum of confusion that currently exists for many dyslexic students around I.T training. Many dyslexic students feel overwhelmed by the number of individuals, organisations and departments they are forced to deal with, whilst trying to cope with their own busy learning schedule. Currently, a student receiving new I.T equipment has to liaise with:
• The disability department of their learning institution
• Their local education authority
• Needs assessors
• Computer hardware and software suppliers
• Engineers who set up the I.T equipment in the students’ homes
• Assistive technology trainers
• Study skills tutors
EDEN’s specialist tutors are able to provide ongoing advice and support to ensure that students will get the right equipment for their needs and of course , training on how to use it to enhance their learning experience. It is this uniquely holistic approach to training that we believe will help build confidence.
